Partners for Life
This ministry seeks to provide biblical guidance and direction, support and fellowship for married persons and those planning to marry. Men of Integrity (NSM Men’s Ministry)
This ministry provides Christian fellowship, male bonding, mentoring for young men, various activities and spiritual empowerment for the men of our church to improve their everyday lives. Senior’s Overcoming All Restrictions (SOAR)
This ministry exists to keep our elderly active and free of restrictions that prevent them from living productive lives by offering medical programs and services, coordinating social outings and organizing education workshops. Our mission is to develop the New St. Mark membership to higher levels of spirituality and commitment for the cause of Christ through weekly relevant teachings at Word University. Abayomi Community Development Corporation
A faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit human services agency dedicated to the positive development of youth and families. Program services include housing counseling, teen mentoring and counseling, sports and fitness programs, wealth and asset building, and more. Recovery on 8 Mile
Substance abuse recovery through group counseling and the Word of GOD. Narcotics Anonymous and Alcohol Anonymous meetings are held every Friday evening from 9:00 – 11:00. For more information, contact Rev. Duane Cooper at 313.538.9787.
This department provides financial aid information, stipends and scholarships for high school graduates, recognition of middle school graduates, and provides financial assistance to college students. Emergency Response Team
The ERT ministry is a group of spirit filled medical professionals who are willing to provide effective and expedient care to those having medical emergencies while on church premises; and to provide helpful information to EMS professionals when the need arises. A ministry composed of men and women who extend a friendly spirit and a helping hand to visitors, friends, and members who attend New St. Mark. This ministry provides help to people in need both within the church and to the community. Outreach includes food distribution, clothes, and help for the homeless and less fortunate. This ministry is composed of compassionate caring people who are able to serve others when they are most in need of comfort and that is when a loved one has passed on. This ministry takes care of and meets all extenuating needs of our Pastor’s.

Do you need someone to agree with you in prayer? We have prayer warriors here at NSM waiting to pray for your needs. Prayer Service is held on Tuesday, 6:00 pm and Wednesday, 12 Noon. Join in our corporate Prayer Campaigns offered several times a year with specific requests. Please fill out the prayer request forms in the vestibule and drop in prayer box.
