HELP Ministries

 

Emergency Response Team

The ERT ministry is a group of spirit filled medical professionals who are willing to provide effective and expedient care to those having medical emergencies while on church premises; and to provide helpful information to EMS professionals when the need arises. Good Shepherds Ministry

This ministry takes care of and meets all extenuating needs of our Pastor’s. Contact: Jackie Jackson.

 

Hospitality Ministry

A ministry composed of men and women who extend a friendly spirit and a helping hand to visitors, friends, and members who attend New St. Mark. The individuals in this ministry are dedicated to the comfort of worshippers on any and all occasions. Contact: Rozalyn Williams

 

Mission Ministry

Provides help to people in need both within the church and to the community. Outreach includes food distribution, clothes, and help for the homeless and less fortunate. You can touch God's heart, bless Him, honor Him and celebrate Him by touching the hearts of His people. Don't hesitate. Contact: Min. Hinton.

 

Pastoral Care Ministry

Is composed of compassionate caring people who are able to serve others when they are most in need. If you are sick, in the hospital, nursing home, need home visitation, or there is death in your family, please advise the Pastoral Care Ministry. Contact: Deacon Carolyn Moore, 313-693-9040

 

Prayer Ministry

"I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone" (I Timothy 2:1, NIV) Do you need someone to agree with you in prayer? We have prayer warriors here at NSM waiting to pray for your needs. Prayer Service is held on Tuesday, 6:00 pm and Wednesday, 12 Noon. Corporate Prayer Campaigns are offered several times a year. Fill out prayer request forms in the vestibule and drop in prayer box or fill out on website. Contact: Rev. Martha Borner

 

Usher Ministry

Assists in maintaining an orderly yet pleasant atmosphere in the church, while managing the flow of traffic at entrances and exits. Contact: Pam Pettway
